Join us for an epic night with Chef Omaka Marie, the culinary wizard from Abu Dhabi’s famed Niri! Chef Omaka’s career journey from law to sous chef extraordinaire is as captivating as her Afro-Japanese creations.
Chef Omaka has spent the past 7 years perfecting recipes for Dubai's next breakout restaurant experience. Her journey has taken her through kitchens in Africa to Switzerland and Dubai. She has trained with some of Nigeria's best chefs, and experienced the rigorous disciplines of Japanese cuisine at restaurants like Zuma, Gaia and Niri.
With flavours that dance between continents, she’s bringing the heat to Le Guepard with The Flavour Pilgrim supper club on May 24 and 25. The Flavour Pilgrim by The Seasons will take you on a captivating 5-course journey through the heart of Asia and into the depths of Africa, blending the essence of both continents in a unique Afro-Japanese dining experience.
What she has come up with is a unique synergy of her African roots, and Japanese curiosities. IRU is a rich and dynamic exploration of Afro-Japanese cuisine. Every mouthful of every dish promises a captivating blend of African and Japanese flavors.
